Rally tomorrow, celebrate tonite
Guess who has press credentials for the rally tomorrow. Yep, that would be me. Cause blogging has it's perks. I will be live blogging the speech, between cheering and crying.
And, it looks like Wisconsin is going our way, so its turning out to be a pretty good day. This is the energy boost we need right now to really kick start the Texas campaign. People will be pouring into Reunion Arena by the tens of thousands tomorrow. And then they will be running, yes running, to their nearest campaign field office or computer to volunteer, make donations, and generally freak out a little. It should be fun.
In other news, the East office is still without phone or internet access. We were lucky tonight to have a volunteer there with a satellite dial up thinga-ma-jig. Pretty handy I must say, so if anyone else has one of them things and would like to work in the office, it would be a big help.
We are going to have an East side office opening party for House District 91 this Saturday. There will be Precinct Captain training at the office from 9 am to 10:30 am followed by a Potluck and Neighbor Canvas event from 11 am on. The PC training is mainly for new PCs who haven't attended any training yet, so if you know what to do already please leave room for newbies and show up at 11. You need to register for the events through MyBO to attend.
The East Side Office is at 6322 Brentwood Stair Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76112.
The North Side Office is at 2511a Rodeo Plaza, Fort Worth, TX 76106.
There is a south Fort Worth office, but I forgot to write down the address. Will post later.
And I just want to say that I am sorry for ever doubting the staff. They have turned out to be some of the most dedicated, educated and motivated people I have ever met. I feel much better about things every time I speak with one of them. They are playing to win.
Anyhow, get some sleep because you are going to be standing in line for a long time tomorrow.
I wonder what the press room will be like.....
