Things are starting to pick up here in Texas now that Super-Tuesday is past. Our primary is March 4th, so we have to get our acts together pretty quick. I've been filling out every volunteer form I can find. If you live in Tarrant County go here to volunteer today. Anna was out taking pictures of possible Fort Worth field offices yesterday and I will be doing the same here in Arlington in a bit so if you know of any storefronts leave a comment. And if you know someone willing to donate space, please let me know ASAP because we need to get this ball rolling.
I am very excited because we are going to our first Obama house party tonight. I can't wait to see what the energy level is amongst the attendees. Hopefully everyone is ready to give 110%. I know I am. Now if our damn campaign swag would get here. Seems everything is on backorder. We plan on recycling some old yard signs into Obama '08 signs for now (sorry Hank and David, but I am sure you understand!). Also there is ObamaCycle, which is a pretty cool idea.
Here is the link for Tarrant County Texans for Obama. Mark Greene, who tried to tell me all about Obama last year, runs it. (Mark, I'm sorry I didn't listen.) Go and get active.
Gotta run. Signs to make, a storefront to find.
Posted by monkey at February 9, 2008 08:49 AMWith CA's primaries over, I took the weekend "off" to sail & hike...staying away from the computer and teevee for a while...a nice change. But what that meant is I didn't see this picture until just now.
Heh...for a lawyer from Chicago, he looks pretty good in that hat!! LOL
